SUMMARY:Tree Planting at Loon Lisle Nature Reserve
DESCRIPTION:Things are moving along over at the Loon Lisle Nature Reserve.  We have so many people to thank for donations of time\, supplies\, etc.  The blocks for the “Serenity Garden” have been placed\, trees have been purchased\, more glacial stones have been added to the shoreline\, weeds were sprayed again\, and a drainage tile has been installed.  Yet to be done is a swale\, rain garden and tree planting.  Oh\, and we also have a few birdhouses to be installed.  Jan Barkley still has 3 houses\, if anyone wants their grandkids or whomever to paint one. \n\nWe will be planting trees on October 9 at 10 in the morning.  We need your help!  We will have a total of 11 trees to plant.  Please bring shovels\, work gloves\, etc. \n\nThanks and hope to see you there.
